Rented Ryder Commercial truck - got their liability supplemental insurance

I recently rented a Ryder commercial 26-foot box truck and purchased liability and physical damage insurance. After backing into a vehicle, there appears to be significant damage. My question is, as I will be filing a claim with their insurance. Will this effect the personal insurance prices I pay for my vehicles? And will this appear on my driving record?

I’ve had two clients in the past who had identical difficulties, and the claims never appeared on their driving record. These insurance are not nearly the same as a typical personal auto. It may or may not be the best answer I can give. In any case, you created the harm, thus it theoretically should, but may not.

What if someone without insurance hits the truck? And what if the damage is more than 50k?
