Which car insurance company is okay?

These are the quotes I have been given with basic excess for a brand-new automobile that will be delivered this coming weekend.

$1849 AAMI, $1467 GIO, $1638 Shannon’s, $2965 Allianz, and $2560 are the values of RACV.

Any recommendations for previous experience with these companies, or others I should consider?

For my part, I enjoy NRMA.

It is always preferable to check the “select my own repairer” box. Spends a little bit more, but if you discover a professional crash repair, it guarantees you get your automobile back in a respectable condition.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed some really bad insurance repairs.

Here’s my 2 cents:

  • AAMI and GIO are usually solid with decent prices.
  • Shannon’s is cool if you like a bit of classic charm.
  • Allianz and RACV are pricier but often come with extra perks.

I had good luck with AAMI—quick claims and friendly service.

AAMI, GIO, and Shannon’s offer competitive quotes. AAMI is known for reliable service, while GIO is praised for customer support. Allianz and RACV are more expensive, but may offer broader coverage. Research customer reviews and coverage details to choose the best value and service for your needs.
