Yeah, bad credit can really make rates go up. USAA at $189 isn’t too bad, but you could try Geico or Progressive. I’ve seen them offer better rates for bad credit drivers.

Pretty much, yeah. Most companies look at credit, but they all have slightly different weightings. It might be worth comparing quotes from a few different companies just to see if anyone gives you a better deal.
