Progressive Grace Period

Hey everyone! I recently missed a payment for my Progressive insurance and I’m worried about the consequences. Does anyone know how their grace period works? How lenient are they if you miss a payment? I’m concerned about potential fees or impacts on my coverage. Any advice or experiences with Progressive’s policies in this situation would be really helpful right now.

Simply put, if Progressive informed you that they may grant you a grace period, they certainly could. Insurance companies are not in the business of lying to their clients, despite what you may have read.

Regarding plans, I usually pay for six months at a time since it’s such a great deal, but I understand that most people can’t always afford to do so.

I totally get the worry, I missed a Progressive payment once too. Progressive usually has a grace period, but it’s best to check directly with them to be sure. Their number is easy to find online and they can tell you exactly how much time you have. In my experience, they were pretty understanding as long as I caught up quickly. There might be a late fee, but it’s better than risking a lapse in coverage.
